wow seems like ages without blogging ... u knew i never liked these stuff. haha.

within these few mths got my a facebook account .... purely to play bejewel but hey it's not tat fun anyways

flunked my exams ... had quite expected it but still felt sad but it meant no school. have to do self study instead though. and it means i can't claim $$$ for my last sem's course sad....

everything's pretty normal i guess. had a trip to redang in jun i think. sea water is so salty. scooba driving's pretty fun but quite tiring. especially when you are looking for your friends and all you see are ppl wearing the yellow or black googles. plenti of fishes around and look at them attack when you hold bread in your hands. weird feeling. dun like fish nor like to eat them. so i'm at peace wif fishes.

we saw nemo 2 or 3 in fact. the lousy underwater camera din manage to capture them. but they are so cute. ^^

time's pretty slow today ... still counting down for 6pm to come ... ciaos till the next time ... maybe another few mths down the road. =)

got caught by mum while i was smuggling some plush home. was helping cecilia to catch. but the machine was so easy i couldn't resist catching another 2 more for my shop. luckily she wasn't angry.... now trying very hard to clear stock as my store room is quickly running out of space. my cupboard in office is also full ...

f6 exams

today's f6 exams taxation. it was terrible. but only had myself to blame for slacking too much. almost going to exam still watching football and surfing net.

the whole exam session is so messed up. had it at RJC took bus and found that i've missed the bus stop. hence too another bus back. reach RI gate is closed. walked one big round uphill the security refuses to opened the locked gate. walked another big round to the other side (another uphill path). Went in at the first gate was told to enter through another gate. So walked again for a distance to the "other" gate. After entering the school still have a long path before i finally reached my exam hall. wasted around 40mins walking and was totally hot and tired.

girl sitting beside me is totally weird. in the mid of exams she would stand up and sit down. repeating the whole process till one of the invigilators questioned her. she juz answer in an unfriendly tone that she had backache. then she would suddenly start murmuring to herself. then the hps in the bags behind me were ringing non stop. even the invigilators were chatting among themselves. wat a chaos.

totally blanked out at the exam. Dun think i can manage to do even one complete answer. too sad to say anymore.

found that cannot survive without doing exam kit hence next paper muz do exam kit! pray to god that pls let me pass even if is juz 50 marks....

next paper on mon f5. onli finished half a textbook so far hope have enough time to do exam kit gambate!!!

When's the last time i blogged? OMG it's ages ago. Had lots of stuff happening ... including my trip to korea etc etc

short summary:
korea was pretty fun. I liked the weather, the clothes that were cheap but always too small, the tour guide (she's really funny), the tour mates and the cherry blossoms. Bought lots of inventory as well and were all sold out. Should have bought more but was restricted by the bulky size. Face shop and all other makeup stores were plentiful and cheap. Like masks were a dollar per piece.

my biggest catch so far at the satan cursed ufo catcher is a jumbo pink teddy bear 1m tall. 4th aunt saw me carrying it at the jurong mrt haha. everyone was clapping when i finally caught it. used $15 ... i'm happy but mum was real mad maybe bcos of the space it took in our already space-starved storeroom. so i sold it ... the person tentatively reserved it maybe while looking for a better looking one ...

winnie move to study room so i have my bedroom to myself. lots of space even after moving the long study table over. i have great plans for it. intend to buy a tv and setup my wii which has more or less turned into a white elephant. maybe set a little sofa or rocking chair and have the remaining cupboards turned into storage space for my stocks.

roomba 530 finally arrived after a tedious wait from US. i was pretty worried as there were lots of complains at the woot forums. luckily it is working fine. though i wasn't lucky enough to get a free upgrade to 560 nor lucky enough to have it reach me b4 mum's day but all in all i'm 100% satisfied with it. liked the way it bumps into the wall and picks up trash on the floor.

exams slightly more than 2 wks aways. 2 subjects ... 2 weeks ... completed studying 1%. wish me luck...

Met a weird ah pek and he is juz sitting beside me!!!

Was on the way to work. As usual i will nap since it will be ages before i will reach city hall for transfer. Then i believe at woodlands this ah pek sat beside me. He started murmuring and it keep getting louder and louder and best of all he is talking to himself in a language intelligible to me. Some sort of mixture in hokkien and some other language. The newspaper he is holding is on the moturtary page and i heard bits and pieces like someone die and money problems and such.

Anyway with his shuffling and loud murmuring i couldn't get any sleep. All the way till city hall only then he stopped because he also needed to transfer omg. He also alighted at bugis ... i stayed as far as possible from him and luckily my shuttle bus came before i could meet him at the bus stop or otherwise.

GHWT jamming session 1

Got hm extra early to debut my first GHWT jamming session. Very happy with the instruments but quite disappointed with the game. Don't know if it's juz me so used to the screen for drum mania? bcos the guitar hero screen is quite difficult to read and songs are not that nice. Hope drum mania will come up with wii version soon and tat it features japanese songs. My rock band 1 games doesn't detect the drum. Hopefully rock band 2 will work.

**on a side note, my wii will hang whenever i load a japanese game, making all other games unreadable till it's in good enough mood to start reading again. what if drum mania really comes up wif a jap wii game? ... I'll put both hands up for drum mania!!!!

Believe someone must have hacked my account and made payment to this website called Markplaats which is totally in either french or italian ... some language which i totally could not comprehend. So guys out there becare of your paypal account. ALWAYS change your password and ALWAYS remove the link to your debit or credit card!!!

Have reported this illegal transaction to paypal. Hopefully I will get my $ back.

today my manager gave me a bear for xmas. In a container called Apex Singapore ... can't help feeling that it's from his cupboard haha joking.

He likes the fountain i gave him and wants to build a garden around it ... wonder wat ppl will think if they saw we both have exactly the same fountain. Just happened to have xtra meant for gift exchange and just happened that he liked my fountain. Thus it just happened that it landed as his xmas gift. As simple as tat full stop.

Singapore has the fewest holidays compared to other APAC countries duh ... americans get boxing day and holidays right from xmas to new year. china and japan have their golden week where they do not have to work for 1 whole week .. singapore ... er ....

Spent my Xmas countdown at Orchard Woohoo but guess what we had it in Orchard Hotel and no one's even counting down even though it's counting like nothing outside

I was like "Oh Merry Xmas it's past 12 midnight ... " ... others were watching some American TV show ...

Only 4 of us today ... amanda and her bf, see jun and me ... joan's son is down with fever hence she skipped the gathering. See Jun had gottened this free hotel room from her buffet club.

We spend some time earlier shopping with lots of crowd and taking photos then walked all the way from taka right up to regent hotel where our dinner was booked. Couldn't remember the name of the restaurant but the food is soooo xpensive. Most single meals are more than $40. Only the lamp chop, beef chop or watever chop ... In the end spent around $50+ per pac though 3 of us shared 2 sets.

A refreshing experience though and Orchard is nice with the lightings ... Merry Xmas ^0^

My area got 2nd prize for this year's xmas deco ... Tat's my snowman sitting above the xmas tree haha ...

there's lunch buffet ... nice food and lucky draw. there are around 80 ppl in the company and there's 25 prizes so the probability of getting one is more than 20% but i'm one of the unfortunate few.

Oh well got pulled into the amo club committee by my manager dunno if it is a good or bad thing. This means that i will be in charge of activities next year...

Woah exam over for F4. really lucky tat i studied the past yr exams and d questions came out. except that though i predicted that director's duties and minority rights will come out but i had no time to revise that section. it couldn't get worse when there were 2 questions on directors and 1 question on minority. i think 30 marks gone. Juz betting on a pass. hope dun have to redo law again ... and i repeat i hate law ... pray pray

Hey i'm bored but panicking inside bcos exams juz 1 wk away. Have studied d lect notes and exam kit but nothing's gone into my mind. Ok i admit i'm not trying hard enough. Couldn't get enough sleep and always felt like i'm floating (kinda too heavy to float haha) and dreaming bcos can hardly get both my eyes to open completely...

Will try to memorise some of the law sections today hopefully my brain still have some memory left else maybe i'll be prepared to take a retest half yr later ... hope not ...

Seriously i'm way out of cash ... regretted my trip to batam and malacca which have stripped me of my savings for the tutorial fees which came up to an amazing but not unpredictable $925. OMG this is on credit and i'm wondering how am i going to pay thru this with enough to pay for my meals and to do my already crazy and standing hair.

dec is a horrible mth considering that i do not get yr end bonus till apr next yr. and with my mum and godmum's bday and all the xmas celebrations. all the temptation to spend ... every where i see them bright with lights and xmas trees ... arg ...

retrenchment news has hit my company even though i long knew this would happen since AC left. today was told that my department is was not hit by the wave thankfully but there will be a total of 190 to go worldwide. so far i've seen my boss, the EC VP and some staff in australia gone with excuse of "found some other job" even though we all knew this is not true in any way u see it.

CC has been pestering me whether my previous manager Y has approached me to join his co. Seriously i have no interest bcos i'm on bond here and have no wish or $ to pay the penalties. besides my current manager is giving me lots of opportunities to learn ..

set off for habourfront quite late bcos i thought they will be late ... ok i misread the time sent by joan. she wanted to meet at 8.15 which i thought was 8.30. at 8.15 i'm still in mrt at jurong east ... hence had to immediately rush out of mrt to take a cab. reached at 8.35 to find that the ship onli leave at 10+ lol ....

d ferry to batam is very fast tat's y d name of the service to batam is called 'batam fast'. haha dun get the joke nvm ;P

reach within 50mins and it's d first time i've stepped on indonesian shores. it's pretty relaxing as wat u would expect of a seaside charlet. our hotel, holiday inn is juz 3 mins drive from the harbour. the shuttle will be there every 10 mins to fetch passengers to the hotel. hotel is very new and nice all else, ie the surroundings outside the hotel is way backward ... dusty and no much civilisation.

the room is large ... a living room a dining table and two bedrooms .... looking out to the nice swimming pool view below. it's comfortable and besides taiwan this is the only place i've seen with so many tv channels. pretty much like my home with free-to-air tv and cable tv. unlike malaysia which only has a few cables and mostly in malay.

oh ya there's a polo shop (ralph lauren) in our hotel as well as the harbour. they are fake if you define them according to descriptions online. however, amanda corrected me tat they are not fake. just another brand called polo which only caters to indonesia. quality is not too bad. however i still felt it's pretty expensive to pay sgd ard $100 for a polo even though they are already cheaper then sg. somemore if it is deemed to be a 'fake'.

went for the hotel spa (tea tree spa). it's my first time doing spa everything's refreshing but pretty unknown to me. esp since i was told i have to 'bare it all' ... =(

while waiting, we sat at the open air jacuzzi. as me and amanda took a couple package, we were to share the same room for the massage. conclusion on the spa ... weird to have someone pressing here and there and even more weird to have someone serve you like a queen ... haha
almost fell asleep halfway thru bcos it was such a conducive environment but woke up bcos the facial was so painful. she squeezed at my pimples without mercy 0_0 ... in the end i felt more tired than the person who served me bcos i kept trying to hold back laughing as she poke my sensitive spots (which is my whole body ;P)

took a cab out for 16sgd (charged it to hotel). road is bumpy with holes on the ground car is old seldom see any new or fancy cars there. the houses by the road are either built halfway or made with flimsy metal planks. but upon nearing the ngoya shopping center, situation is not tat bad. there are even good looking warehouses which looked much like those jtc warehouses.

shopping center is big. almost the size like imm. a lot 'counter-freits'. u can see nike, addidas, gucci and a lot of things are rather cheap. clothes are mostly ard 10sgd. normal food is cheap. a&w is x.

the cab ride back is wat i'd call an adventure ride. the cab driver juz siam here siam there and weave thru the traffic in the midst of lots of cars and motorcycles. even though there's lines on the road but no one paid attention to them they juz drove in the middle of the road till someone horned them. no street lights so you have to depend on ur car lights. i kept fearing where the taxi driver will drive us bcos we can't see outside which is too dark. finally reached hotel phewed ... i've survived a taxi ride wohoo ...

managed painfully to stay awake to play mahjong. in ard an hr mi already fainted.

checked out and took cab to batam shopping center. there is an international ferry there but i'm not sure y we din take the ferry there. anyways, all shopping centers are abt the same. rushed back to hotel to collect our stuff den took ferry home. pity its only 1 nite trip. back to normal life...

Malacca Trip

Went to A Formosa resort in malacca wif Joan & Family + Karen ...

Day 1:

Initial intention is to get my cam battery from post office. However, batt was not at post office and is wif speedpost instead. Paid extra $9 for nothing ...

Mit up wif Joan and we set off from jurong east. Got stuck at causeway for 1hr+ btw it's d first time we r driving into malaysia. After a 4hr+ journey without seeing a single sight of formosa and the sun scotching my legs, we stopped over for lunch at one of the many stopovers along malaysia highway. It was extremely crowded considering its remote location. Had A&W (which is already extinct in singapore) but unfortunately they've run out of stock of waffles and d chicken did not taste better den KFC.

A moments' drive and we found we were extremely close to d resort lol. The rooms are huge and clean to the contrary of the reviews i read online. Very much wanted to refund one of the rooms as there are 2 doubles bed in each room but in vain. Exhausted, we rested till 8pm+ b4 setting off to cowboy town, one of the attractions in the resort.

cowboy town is juz like a made-believe town similar to disneyland. A few nice old western style buildings. As it was rather late, we immediately went for the animal carnival. Suddenly joan found that she had lost her passport and immediately we run looking for it. luckily she found it on the floor at one of the shops we had passed earlier.

The animal carnival was an interesting carnival of sorts ... there were firebreathers, chickens (yes chickens also walked the carnival), bulls, elephants etc and ended with fireworks.

Initially we thought that the aerobics show would be at the same location hence we stayed on. But left immediately upon realising that it is a repeat of the animal carnival. I really wonder how many times do they hold the carnival a day...

The aerobics show was held in a remote part of the 'town' ... so remote that the floor was sand and the stage looked like it was about to fall off. The performers were a group of chinese acrobats. So much for their effort but the entire show was a letdown with numerous mistakes and lousy sound system and they even skipped and looked for tracks in the midst of performance.

By the time the show finished, it was already 10+pm and there were no restaurants opened. hence we headed back to the stopover for some local food. we were exhausted by the time we returned to hotel by 1+am ... to find tat we can't open our door lol. luckily the service ppl quickly opened and replaced our key.

Day 2:
Went for the complimentary breakfast at huangdi rest which is in the cowboy town. free things are seldom good and this is esp true bcos they tried to set the rest buffet style but each person can only get 1 set of food.

The food are tasteless .. even d syrup is dilute. the queue for the western food is even worse as there is only 1 cook and lots of ppl cutting queues.

after breakfast we went to water world. this is very much like our wild wild wet. I must say it is a good attraction aside from the fact that the water is filthy for the lazy river. We can see leaves and sand in the water. what amazes me is the filter which is actually a net which occupies half of the lane in the pool picking up leaves. But most of the filth manages to get thru. The wave is much more fun as the waves are larger and the family float, the ooh la la, is fun as we are almost falling off the edge. very unlike wild wild wet which is a rather smooth ride. it was so exciting that my contact lens fell ....

single eyed, we left water world and went for animal safari which is typically the zoo in the resort. all the animals that appeared yesterday in the carnival are here ... lol d animal's day job is the zoo and night job is the carnival ... wat a torture ... joan's in-law came looking for us (to look at their grandson). hence we left without finishing the safari and went back to wash up at the hotel.

we den went to malacca (melaka) town for dinner at the popular formosa chicken rice balls. this name appears everywhere juz like our kallang laksa. but the food is really good. the rice are shaped like fishballs and taste akin to mashed chicken rice. later on we went to the pasar malam juz outside which is crowded bcos it is deepavali the next day. and i got tis cute shinning devil ears which i bought a lot to distribute.

went back hotel was exhausted and sleeping soon though i had an uneasy feeling in the room.

Day 3:
Checked out early morning. Decided to eat the cup noodles we bought earlier instead of the tasteless complimentary breakfast. We den went to the recreation area and took the go-kart. the track was the dry sand tracks which left me sandy by the time i finished the race (which did not allow me space to overtake). After tat we played archery and i got a big patch of blue-black when the string swept past my arm. Den we watched joan play paintball shooting before we set off to melaka town for lunch. lunch is steamboat den we set off back to sg.

joan's husband was exhausted with the driving for the past few days. hence he gave the wheel to me and i drove part of the journey home. driving in malaysia is not difficult as the road is big and straight. however the normal speed is 110km/hr. and the cars there do not give way. they can even drive on road shoulders to overtake. by the time we reached sg is already 10+pm. i lost my sunglass at the causeway and forgot take home a large bag of chestnuts ... and i'm lock out of hm. luckily they came back fast else i'll be sleeping at the corridoor...

overall not bad. i also saw huge villas for rent as resorts which are 3 storeys high. It feels weird sleeping alone in the same room with a complete stranger though (joan's ex-colleague) ...

Hello Kitty Lantern Fest 08

Went for the hello kitty lantern fest even though it was way past the lantern festival. No much ppl considering that we went late at 8pm.

All the lanterns are of course hello kitty and her friends in all sort of poses like racing, surfing etc. Got a bit bored after a while bcos they are juz all hello kitty ....

Regreted that i din bring my tripod hence almost all my pics turn out blur and in addition winnie's cam giving us time limit of (30mins on cam) which is in fact only only 1 min in actual time

Trying to put some paranoma shots but din turn out very well due to the overlap.

Team Building @ Sentosa

Today's our company trip for team building at sentosa. All in all it was a series of 'treasure hunting'. Very very tiring but luckily all the spots were in the vicinity and only requires some walking.

I believe this is our 4th quest and we had to take the lunge down the hill. This is basically a non motorised 'vehicle' where we sat on it and let the gravity pull us down the hill. It was very fun considering the speed i went downhill. I started at second and immediately overtook my neighbour. This car is definitely faster than d go kart i took in genting and is certainly worth a try.

Our very last quest required us to dig in the sand for puzzle pieces. I almost had heart attack due to exhaustion (too long din do exercise ... ). We were required to obtain 12 pieces of puzzle and i couldn't even find one. Had food in my mouth and was digging non stop (i almost ate the sand) eventually i gave up and the second round i went at it i still couldn't manage to get a single piece huff ...

The whole team was working so hard that we finished the entire race at 3+pm instead of the projected 5pm. Hence we had early lunch at the open air restaurant.

After our dinner we took the skyride back up to the sentosa entrance. Very nice view from above amid screams from a few chairs after us and someone before us dropping her sandles while taking off.

See how insecure the 'chairs' are and we are kms above the ground. Overall this is a very nice trip and would be considered a very successful team building event because i've got the chance to talk to ppl i had no previous work relationships. And found that we all got along so well.

Heartache ... was literally "forced" to buy my first pair and probably the last pair of roller blades. Singtel F1 Simulator

I signed up for the Singtel F1 simulator quite a few days ago. Today I attended the contest. The person who completes the race on the simulator with the least timing will get F1 ticket in the Singapore race.

The simulator is resided in a makeshift tent beside comcenter. It is really amazing. Ever since I saw the 'life size' chair simulator, I've never seen such a big simulator. It is exactly the same size as the real F1 racing car with 3 big computer screens in front. The screen makes up exactly the entire view you will get when u are racing. The controls are also very cool and complicated. But luckily I only need to know how to change the gear which is by pulling up a lever at the sides of the steering wheel.

When I sat in, i was almost lying flat and the pedals were really hard. The entire race was rather real and i was bumped around when my car hit the walls. It is virtually impossible to accelerate a lot as there were a lot of killer curves. I ran the virtual would be Singapore night race route, with the singapore flyer and bridges etc in the view.

I finished at 3.02 mins and the staff consoled me that some ppl finished in 4 mins duh .... really a good experience.

The staff took my photo wif d car but i was too giddy with the driving that i forgot to ask him to help me take a photo. Hopefully i wun appear in some singtel newsletter.... ;P

Bought some paper to redesign my clock ... next time u see my living room clock erm.... it's made by me haha

Yeah I passed my driving test. Got a malay tester. During the test i nearly strike kerb but luckily i stopped in time and reversed out. I was reprimanded for not checking back if there are cars when i reversed.

There weren't many mistakes and i was pretty confident tis time round. The tester was totally quiet and only towards the end of the test did he started to allocate marks. I was so nervous bcos he kept ticking on the test sheet. I was exhilarated when he passed me.

We drove to IMM immediate upon getting my temp license. I was totally unfamilar with the new car and i stroke kerb. When I reach the IMM carpark, it was a real headache bcos there were so many cars and the parking lots looked really small to me. Eventually i was so stressed out that my dad had to help me park the car in.

Great day and hope i will not lose my probation license during the year.

Watched Hana Kimi out of curiosity how Japan edition will differ from the Taiwan version. I must say I'm very impressed with the story line for the Japan edition. Though Maki who acted as Rui Xi did not look very guy, I liked her acting just as much. Japan's edition initial impression is very messy with too many outflow of casts. Almost all the cast appeared in ep 1. N japan's cast are not as handsome as Taiwan ones.

But putting Ella aside, I still prefer Japan to Taiwan ver.

A New Car #1

finally after much research we've got our new car ... a Hyundai Avante 1.6(A) 2008 OPC...

till last nite i was still arguing whether we should add a CNG tank but with space considerations, we dropped the idea

initially we thought that the car seat color was double tone ... after much trouble including the salesman calling up to ask if any particular road show car was in that tone and going up to the normally restricted zone (car warehouse), we found tat it is actually dark grey. Bcos of the dots on the seat and the lighting hence we mistook that it was a two toned color.

Moonlight color for the car was also out of stock and stock will never arrive for tat color hence we had to settle for steel grey with dark grey leather

We had much bargaining till the saleman's shirt was half wet ;P ... finally we managed to knock from him a carpet ($78 i dunno carpet so x) ... a dvd player (in exchange from a pioneer mp3 player) ... auto side mirror tat closes when power off (paid extra $140) ... dark window (forgot term)

Project to get car on 19/ 20 jun which is d day i am taking my TP ... hopefully i will pass and can drive immediately ^^

Oh ya ... there's a $1 downpayment for loan ... which is so stange =D

Time is 3.45pm. Though i had repeatedly tried to calm myself ... seems tat i'm still very nervous
So nervous that I tried to move off without releasing the handbrake ... oh -2 marks

I was finally very steady on the road ... bcos i drove veri slowly ... too slow ... -4 marks

At the traffic lights one student couple was geering and strolling ... really slowly and laughing across the road looking at my L testing plate ... damn ... if not for the tester beside mi i will definitely honk them

When i turned back to bbdc ... tried to release my seat belt ... hmmm ... how come din fasten seat belt *shock* ... seems tat tester oso din realise ... duh ;P

On the way up to debriefing rm i was constantly on a fail liao note

Ok I flunked ... reason for not checking blind spot -18 marks *angry* ... tester said i did not check when i've been turning my head all ard ... he claimed that i was looking at the side mirror *curse tester*

I wasn't sad ironically i was rather glad tat everything's over ... a full 40 marks demerit ... cheers to my 2nd attempt

the grabbing machine which i played for $0.50 now actually is putting the nightmare before christmas crystal light ... i remembered last week it was at the candy machine and needs at least quite a few $ to get 1

very lucky got d first one on my first try ... $0.50 for no. 1 hahaha .... 2nd one at $1 ... den after playing $5 no hope till at last d machine grabbed one and hanged. Had my first lesson with my new instructor today. Was rather shocked when he charged me $50 for enrolment. We never had this before and amanda also said hers did not charge her any enrolment. I'm still considering whether i should ask d driving center or traffic police regarding tis but i've signed a contract with him on the lesson details. I shouldn't have signed this bcos it looks rather suspicious with the paste over slips. I better not be conned. Good part is he teaches rather well but i've no idea why he's passing rate is so low. Sacked my driving instructor

Sacked my driving instructor finally ... today's not a good day to start with ... all the changes in BW, failure to distribute the monthly financial packs on time and a salesgirl indirectly commenting tat i'm too fat ... wat luck

So when my instructor started his routine nagging i couldn't take it veri well ... there were times when he asked me to overtake when there are clearly cars behind and times when he pushed my wheel accusing me of hitting his car on the pavements ... the last straw came when he ask me to turn left which leads to a carpark and later reprimanded me that I should be turning left at the junction. I blew my top and shouted that he should only ask me to turn left when are near the junction and not when we are miles away from it.

I couldn't keep my cool anymore hence i started to make stupid mistakes like turning veri close to d kerb ;P , driving veri veri slowly etc ... right till the point where he said that i can't drive at all .... hahaha

I wanted very much to juz leave the car during the lesson but sensing tat it wasn't a convenient location to drop off, i endured till the lesson ended. When he was abt to ask when i will like to have my lesson next wk, i immediately told him that i will be very busy and wun be taking lessons ... full stop ... finally kicked that thing off me ... >o<

I guess my neighbour juz couldn't hold his secrets ... he had earlier on revealed to me that his wife who is a philips staff had the chance of a staff purchase of a 32" LCD tv and a 50" Plasma tv at $300 and $500 respectively.

He managed to successfully ballot a 32" tv and mentioned that there were still 50" s left ... i grabbed the chance to ask him to help me get the tv. initially he thought that he could share profits if i successfully sell it off at auctions ... and he even wanted me to provide the storage space ... duh ... when i mentioned that i wanted it for my own use, i sensed that his face turned green at the prospect of losing the opportunity to earn a buck at tis

so he reluctantly promised to ask his wife regarding tis ... hahaha i can predict not much chance though ...

my ears are itching now ... dunno is it bcos he is cursing and swearing at me or is it my family discussing abt this opportunity ...

looks like it's not bad working in philips if you can get tat kind of offer ard the year ... but probably u will end up wif all the expensive defective appliances and would have spent a ton on personal transport to ferry them back ;P

Though my new year resolution is to quit UFO catcher ... but sometimes i juz couldn't help myself ... =(

anyways .... today a lady was playing tis machine where the subsitute toy is already at the edge of the hole. She also invested quite a lot but juz couldn't get it moving ... it always dropped back to the same point. hence seeing the chance i spent $3 ... twice the claws couldn't position properly at the toy and luckily the 3rd time it finally did and using the claw strengthing technique, it really grabbed the toy and put it in the hole ... wat luck ... ^^

Due to class today i had to come to work 1/2 hr earlier so tat i can depart earlier for school. Was really tired and my throat felt dry and sore and i was starting a cough.

my lecturer for F3 Financial Accounting is Selvam. I found him to be a rather good lecturer. At least i din felt bored though i was really sick for class. Initially i am the only one coughing ... by the end of the lesson, almost half of the class was coughing ... duh...

my other lecturer for F1 Accountant in Business was rather boring in contrast and likes to skip notes during lecture ... sigh ... looks like i have to depend on myself for tat module

still have homework to do... sianz ...

Yeah Happy New Year!!!

New Year present ---> a new HP!!! finally changed my hp after a zillion years. Eventually I couldn't wait for iphone and got k810i instead. Was fanatically searching for d limited edition red color phone in vain... in d end got the golden ivory which also looks good

Despite all positive reviews from hardwarezone forum, conclusion ... a phone is a phone ... tried voice-calling wif my headset until wan to vomit blood ...
